On looking for uk.rec.walking FAQ I discover it is hosted and supplied
by a notorious troll and obnoxious cunt Philip Powell

He has now chosen to adapt a well respected usenet resource (The FAQ)
into a tool where he can subscribe his own bias and subject innocent
members of the public to his somewhat extremist views. Stephen Poley
also tried the same tactics sometime ago with the bird watching group.
He was bitch slapped and forced to remove the defamatory, libelous

Powell himself has been backstabbing various users of these newsgroups
for years and most have him kill filed, although not strictly
necessary as the rat has seen he is not wanted and moved on.

The FAQ is not the place for waging personal vendettas and discredits
a very serious usenet resource.

Therefore if the offensive and unqualified material is not removed
within the next seven days Powell and the FAQ will be replaced with an
appropriate FAQ and an ARA bias. What's good for the goose is good for
the gander.

This will have a serious effect on the groups concerned and you are
all advised to vote powell out of order and the genuine FAQ
reinstated.

I do apologize in advance for any action that may be required, you
must all agree and FAQ should at all times be impartial, honest and
above reproach.

There is nothing to stop the whinny arsed cunt powell from publishing
his own website of lies, defamation and misdeeds, for which he will be
dealt with in due course.

7 days will be allowed to elapse henceforth.

Every few weeks this newsgroup receives "The Woodland Trust" posting
from one Angus Macmillan. He makes a number of allegations regarding
the Woodland Trust and spams it across a number of outdoor-related
newsgroups in uk.rec.* These allegations have been refuted in an FAQ
compiled by Colin Davidson that can be found on Stephen Poley's
